Each fully finished capsule comes with integrated MEP systems, independent steel structures and full climate control, serving as standalone offices, meeting spaces or private sleep suites. What distinguishes Modular Capsules from standalone pods or containers?
Modular Capsules are engineered for three-dimensional scalability. Unlike single-unit pods, they stack vertically and cluster horizontally with shared utility corridors and structural connections. This allows a single Sleep Capsule to grow into a 12-unit workforce housing court, or a Solo Office to multiply into a three-story co-working hive.
How does the stacking system work structurally?
Each capsule frame includes corner castings that align and lock with units above and below. Stacked configurations require a concrete foundation or engineered ground beam. Lateral stability is achieved through inter-unit bracing panels or external stair towers that function as shear walls. Engineering calculations are provided for all multi-unit arrangements.
Can capsules be reconfigured after initial deployment?
Yes. The modular connection system allows disassembly and reassembly without structural damage. A Solo Office can be converted to a Sleep Capsule by swapping interior fit-out panels. Clusters can be expanded by inserting additional units, or contracted by removing and relocating surplus cells to other sites.
What utility infrastructure is required for multi-unit clusters?
Single units connect to standard municipal services. For clusters, we provide a centralized utility hub that distributes power, water, and data through underground corridors between capsules. This hub can include backup generators, water storage, and sewage processing for off-grid campuses. Individual units retain isolation valves and meters for independent billing.
